Le Toy Van Wooden Noah’s Ark Shape Sorter: Review

Written by Leanne Bell

I bought this for my Daughter last Christmas when she was a little over 12 months. From about 18 months upwards she has really brought the Ark to life.

Firstly, I was really impressed with how nice and colourful the toy is. Ours is currently stored on top of the toy box and is noticed by everyone that enters the room. I love the fact that it is made out of wood, making it very strong, and great at withstanding the heavy hands of a preschool child.

The animals are easy to recognise, plus the perfect size for little hands to play. Being a two year old Eliza isn’t really worried about which one fits through which gap, and luckily for her most of the animals can go in several of the gaps with hardly any effort.

At the back of Noah’s Ark there is a blue door which slides up and can be removed. This means that all of the pieces can be safely stored away when its not being played with, or Mum/Dad can rescue various animals in order to begin the gap posting process over again!2

Eliza has reached the age now where she is beginning to role play in addition to generally emptying the toy box and it has been lovely to observe her interactions. She loves the fact that the characters can stand, and is beginning to ‘move’ them in and around the ark. I am definitely happy with this purchase, meaning that I would buy again in the future as a gift or recommend to other families.
